ENGL 354: Idea of Nature, Nature of Ideas (1 Unit) Prerequisite: Sophomore standing or higher or permission of instructor. An interdisciplinary exploration of the relationship between the imagination and the natural world in the works of key American writers. Draws on the creative and critical tools of multiple disciplines—including literary studies, creative writing, and natural history. Typical authors include H.D.
