Environmental Studies Minor

Two of the following courses:

• ANTH 105: An Introduction to Anthropology (1 Unit)
• BIOL 195: Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity (1 Unit)
• E&E 151: Introduction to Geology (1 Unit)

Three additional units, including at least two units at the 200-level or above, including:

Any courses that fulfill the Environmental Studies category requirement (designated YEN)

OR

E&E 102  , Introduction to the Environment (1 Unit)

OR

WGS 250 , Gender and the Global Garden (1 Unit)

Experiential Requirements:

● Departmental Colloquia: All environmental studies minors are required to attend departmental colloquia regularly. In these, students who completed research projects, service projects, internships or field experiences the previous semester will report on them, and other items of general interest, such as graduate schools and careers, will be discussed.

Notes:

● All courses for the minor must be taken for a numerical grade.

● This minor may not be elected by geology or environmental studies or environmental science majors.
