Requirements for Business Major
All Courses for the Major Must Be Taken for a Numerical Grade
A Minimum of 10 Units Including:

The Following Cognate Areas Must Be Completed for a Major:
The Economics & Management Department requires students to show proficiency-level equivalent to MATH 120 (College Algebra) to earn a major or minor in the department. Should a student test into MATH 100, that student must take BOTH MATH 100 AND MATH 120 to fulfill the cognate requirement. Should a student test into MATH 120 or MATH 127 (Trigonometry), the student can take the respective course to fulfill the cognate requirement. If a student tests into MATH 141 (Calculus I), MATH 143 (Calculus II), or beyond, proficiency will be met, thus fulfilling the MATH 120 cognate requirement. In Addition
