Requirements for Major in Marketing (10 Units)


Marketing Major Core (5 Units)


All majors must complete the common Marketing core, which consists of five units:

Integrated Marketing Communication Emphasis


Integrated Marketing Communication Core (5 Units)

All IMC emphasis majors will take:

Elective Units (4 Units)


Each Integrated Marketing Communication Emphasis major must complete four electives from the following list:

In Addition:


 

COMM 289 and COMM 389 courses (Selectd Topics) offered will be accepted as electives toward the major, as will courses taken during off-campus study programs (for example, courses taken as par of The Philadelphia Center), if approved by the Communication Studies department.  Students may complete Selected Topics courses and count them toward the major but may not complete the course more than once.  In addition, Directed Studies (COMM 411, COMM 412) may be counted toward the major if they are approved by the department in advance and are taken within the Communication Studies Department (as COMM 411 or COMM 412).

Business Marketing Emphasis


Business Marketing Emphasis (5 Units)

All Business Marketing Emphasis majors will take:

Each Business Marketing Emphasis major must complete three (3) electives from the following list:
