BIOL 360: Genomic Analysis

Prerequisite: BIOL 300 or permission of instructor.
This is a hands-on, project-based course in which students will learn the latest bioinformatics (computer-based) techniques for genome sequence and gene expression analyses. We will explore the major concepts and skills of genomic analysis by downloading and analyzing published bioinformatics data. No prior computer experience is required. Counts as an elective with lab.
