E&M 371: Issues in Modern Political Economy

Prerequisite: Junior or senior standing or permission of instructor.
A non-technical course on selected legal and public policy issues related to the economy. Topics vary from term to term but could include such issues as equal employment opportunity and affirmative action, the use of economic analysis in setting public policy, and government’s role in health care.
