PHIL 315: Knowledge, Truth, and Reason

A critical examination of recent work in the theory of knowledge, i.e., of influential papers on knowledge and the justification of belief.  Past courses have included an introduction to some of the central issues in contemporary epistemology, as well as a sustained focus on a single topic.  Recent examples include the following:  the epistemology of testimony, epistemic injustice, evidentialism, and the epistemology of disagreement.
