PHIL 202: Social Philosophy


(1 Unit)
An introduction to the philosophical study of the social world including a critical examination of theories used to justify or critique various social institutions and practices–e.g., theories of justice, rights, and obligations.  The course additionally considers social identity, especially theories of race and ethnicity, and how social identity interacts with the above-mentioned topics.  Staff.
