PLSC 315: Campaigns and Elections

Prerequisites: PLSC 101 .
This course explores the electoral system and election campaigns. We will compare and contrast elections and campaigns at all levels of government and follow current political races. We will talk about the different stages of the electoral process and the role played by political parties, candidate-centered organizations, money, issues, images, and the mass media in the election. Offered in presidential election years when campaigns for all government levels are in full swing. Staff.
