ENGL 316W: Intermediate Poetry Workshop

Prerequisite:Completion with a 2.0 or better of ENGL 215W or permission of instructor.
A workshop for continued study and practice in writing poetry. Students examine form in free verse and traditional verse (the lyric, blank verse, sonnets, etc.); write new poems, including a series of formal exercises; and extensively revise their own poetry.
