MATH 250: Problem Solving Seminar (1/4 Unit) Prerequisites: MATH 141 and permission of instructor An examination of problem-solving strategies from all areas of mathematics, with particular emphasis on mathematics competition problems. Students will participate in the Michigan Autumn Take-Home Challenge and William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition. Fall semester only; may be repeated for credit up to one full unit of credit.
