GEOL 306: Glaciers and Climate Change

Prerequisite: GEOL 101  or GEOL 103 .
Study of the pace, causes, and impacts of climate change in the geologic record and in today’s world. Special emphasis on the role of glaciation in climate change and the impact of glaciation and climate change on the Great Lakes area. Lecture and field trip offered in alternate years.
